Plant Memory Garden Project – Sahal Razat

A strategic environmental, scientific, and tourism project aimed at establishing an integrated botanical garden in Razat Plain, Dhofar Governorate, covering an area of 1.5 million km². The project seeks to conserve and protect Dhofar’s unique plant genetic resources from extinction through a central agricultural nursery, a scientific seed bank, and specialized laboratories. It also offers a distinctive tourism and educational experience through an interactive visitor center and eco-lodges inspired by local traditional architecture (Streit huts), in alignment with Oman Vision 2040 and environmental sustainability requirements.
