Power Transformer Tank

Setting up a manufacturing facility for Tank fabrication unit to complement the localization plans for transformers. Voltamp currently imports around 95% of its transformer tanks into Oman, highlighting a strong opportunity for localizing this critical component. With 2–3 transformer manufacturers in the country relying on these materials, and tanks representing a significant share of total raw material costs, establishing local production could enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen in country value creation. The company will secure off-take agreements and pre-purchase contracts to ensure demand commitment and enhance commercial viability.
