Description
As part of its efforts to develop the civil aviation sector in the Sultanate of Oman, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announces an investment opportunity for the operate and manage of the Aircraft Maintenance Facility at Muscat International Airport. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2025The project is characterized by state-of-the-art buildings and facilities, enabling the maintenance of various types of aircraft, including wide-body aircraft such as the A380, which is one of the largest aircraft in the world. The project aims to meet the needs of the global market as international air traffic is expected to grow, especially in the wake of the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this project, Civil Aviation Authority seeks to establish Oman as an important regional center for the aircraft maintenance sector in the Middle East, taking advantage of its strategic location between the global aviation markets in Asia, Africa and Europe.
